instead of letting your car slide in a straight forward motion, to hit other cars, thus increase and worsen insurance claim, wouldn't it be easier to think very quickly about driving onto the? curb? all that snow on the side would have stopped the smaller cars...or worst case scenario you hit a post.

@figgyfiggy5 ABS won't save you when the road gets this? slippery. There have actually been studies that show that ABS can be detrimental in ice compared to a skilled driver.
